01The brief

Utilisation collection, one spreadsheet at a time.

LCI Aviation needed to collect utilisation data (engines and airframes) for every leased aircraft every month, and load it into their core operational leasing application. The existing process was Excel-based: prepare a file per aircraft with latest data from the core system, email to each operator, receive updated files back, manually load returned data. Every month. Every aircraft. Significant effort, error-prone, and requiring additional reconciliation to catch the errors the manual process inevitably introduced.
